The Foundation holds the endowment for the James Merrill House and makes disbursements annually to the James Merrill House LLC in support of the House and its literary programs. The Foundation is registered as a 501(c)3 organization with the IRS, and your tax-deductible gift to the endowment will help support the James Merrill House and its literary programs in perpetuity. If you would like to discuss an endowment gift to the James Merrill House Foundation, please contact us. We are able to accept gifts by check, charitable gift funds (Schwab, Fidelity, etc.), gifts of stock or wire transfer. Gifts of $10,000 and above will be acknowledged on a plaque in the James Merrill House.
